Wouldn't thinking you're better than everyone kinda defeat the purpose of being emo? I don't like emo kids because they're mad annoying.

Not that I hate depressed people. Depression is a real condition. But the thing is... if you're really depressed, you don't wear it on your sleeve. You try to hide it. The idea of pretending to be depressed as a fashion statement is kinda wrong.
